Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Indigroup is an executive search company, whose quality of services is becoming a benchmark in Baltic states. Our client is one of the biggest retailers of its segment in Lithuania. The company operates one of the largest retail chains in the region of more than 60 stores, e-commerce and B2B sales channels. In 2021 it reached a turnover of 30 million euros and unites a team of more than 600 employees.

In order to further develop and strengthen its position on the market, the company invites an experienced IT Manager to take a role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The role of CTO will be responsible for development and implementation of IT strategy in rapidly growing international organisation.

Description

  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals:
    • IT infrastructure (hardware and software)
    • Product implementation, support and development
    • Internal IS projects
  • Help optimize all departments using software solutions and assist with data gathering, statistics and reporting
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security program, including policies, procedures, and controls
  • Identify opportunities and risks for the business
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Assist with the recruitment, retention and talent acquisition efforts of the company. Build relationships with vendors, communities and customers
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes. Implement and maintain relevant policies, for example privacy policy and GDPR policy
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Communicate technology strategy to the CEO, COO and regional Management teams

Requirements

  • Experience 5+ years as CTO or CIO, preferably with experience in international company or group of companies devoted to Technological B2C or B2B solutions or services
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
  • Experience in managing IT department team with both IS, product and infrastructure responsibilities
  • Understanding of budgets and business-planning
  • Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership and organizational abilities
