Head of Accounting Department

Indigroup is an executive and specialist search company. Our client is one of the biggest production companies in Baltic States which is mainly engaged in production of nitrogen fertilizers. Total production consists of over 40 different products which are exported to France, Poland, Germany, Benelux countries, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Australia, Slovakia.

Company employs more than 1000 employees with total revenue of more than 500M EUR in 2021.

At the moment the company is looking for an experienced accounting and tax specialist capable of taking the position of Head of Accounting Department. The person will be responsible for running an accounting operation in accounting department and team of 13 subordinates.

Darbo pobūdis

  • Full accounting operations for large scale production company

  • Participation in implementation of new ERP system (SAP)

  • Accruals for monthly closings
  • Contact to auditors and advisors (Big4)
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Accounts Payable
  • VAT declaration and reconciliations in-house and external partnership companies
  • Declarations to Authorities in Lithuania
  • Direct accountability to the CFO of the company

Reikalavimai

  • 5+years of experience in role of Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting Department or CFO in large scale multilayered organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Good team management skills
  • Great working knowledge of finance and administrational operations
  • Experience working in production company would be an advantage, but not mandatory
  • SAP knowledge would be considered as an advantage
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English, Russian skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work ethics to ensure the compliance of all reporting
