Description
Technical SEO Manager will be a keystone part of our SEO, Content Marketing and Outreach teams and will report directly to the Acceleron Media Operations Manager. The role will work hand in hand with our client’s Brand Managers analyzing site performance and currently implemented SEO strategies and make recommendations for improvements; understanding everything from meta data to usability, keyword density to internal linking, SERP click through rates to backlinking campaign effectiveness will in whole, or in part, fall under the Technical SEO Manager’s remit.
The SEO team of Acceleron Media: you’ll be surrounded by 12 Outreach SEO specialists, 2 Technical SEO managers and 3 Content team members.
We are looking for a Technical SEO Manager with good experience managing the more technical aspects of SEO for large websites. The SEO Manager will be independently minded, able to pursue issues and opportunities and make independent recommendations to clients.
Scope:
- Audit existing site performance and current SEO strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
- Devise and implement SEO large scale and/or complex campaigns across a number of assigned enterprise accounts according to SEO best practices.
- Conduct advanced search behaviour and audience research.
- Work hand-in-hand and communicating with client Brand Managers.
- Internal & external monthly reporting.
- Nurture agency-client relationships.
- Maximize results across multiple digital channels through close collaboration with other Acceleron Media digital marketing teams.

- Salary: €4000-5500 gross/month.
- Performance-based incentive/ bonus plan of +10% gross/month (+€400-550 gross/month) if monthly performance objectives are met.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an SEO role.
- Be able to demonstrate your role in search traffic growth from a current/previous position.
- Good working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush, AHREFS, etc.
- Experience in reporting back to stakeholders, making recommendations for improvements and provide rationale behind those recommendations.
- Ability to run regular audits, both onsite and offsite.
- Good understanding of CMS, particularly WordPress.
- Good understanding on Google ranking factors and how technical aspects of website affect them.
- Understanding of common web technologies (HTML/CSS, JS Libraries, PHP, Python, etc).
- Ability to put together scripts and use APIs to streamline analysis and reports.
- Understanding of browser-based development tools (Lighthouse, Dataslayer, Tag Assistant, etc).
- Knowledge of other marketing activities that impact SEO performance.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel for processing data.
- Willingness to learn about other areas in the marketing mix and how digital fits together.
