Description

Bentley Systems has an exciting new opportunity for talented individuals who are enthusiastic about leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to develop industry leading, gold standard design engineering collaboration product, ProjectWise for cloud-based SaaS offering enabling cross-organization project collaboration. ProjectWise addresses the need for engineers to collaborate on designing large infrastructure projects, like nuclear power plants, oil refineries, factories, roads, railways, tunnels, bridges and so on. Our new colleagues will be responsible and take part in all the development stages of this software, leveraging agile methodologies and the latest cloud technologies.

The ProjectWise 365 team:
You will be joining ProjectWise 365 development team of 40+ engineers around the globe. Team consist of multiple scrum squads (4-7 people each). We have many experienced full stack, backend and frontend developers; we also have QA engineers, product managers, technical support. Everybody has their own area of expertise and yours would be designing moderate complexity technical solutions via SaaS services, defining backend API endpoints, writing them in .NET/C# code, setting up deployment on MS Azure using containers or other standard deployment methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand software requirements.
  • Build sustainable software solutions for our clients by designing, developing, and deploying new features on existing or new microservices and integrating them together.

  • Salary for this position ranges from 3500 to 5000 EUR gross for a mid level and from 5000 to 6500 EUR gross or more for a senior level.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in software development.
  • .NET Core, .NET Framework (C#).
  • RESTful backend web services.
  • High personal code/development standards and practices (unit testing, code reviews).
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English language.
  • Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Other Desirable Skills:

  • Front-end JavaScript frameworks (React) – if would be willing to take a full-stack role which is entirely optional.
  • API management platforms (e.g., Kong, KrakenD, Tyk, Azure API management).
  • Databases (SQL, NoSQL, document databases).
  • Message brokers (e.g., Service Bus, RabbitMQ).
  • Streams (e.g., Event Hub, Kafka).
  • Git or another version control system.
  • Cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud).
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (e.g., Azure DevOps, Octopus).
  • Experience in Agile scrum development environment.
