IT Project Manager

Indigroup is an executive and specialist search company. Our client – “Laisva linija” specialises in installation and technical service of laboratory and production equipment for materials science, nanotechnology, food and environmental analyses.

For more than 20 years the company supplies advanced solutions for the laboratories, industry and control institutions and provides installation and technical service of laboratory and production equipment as well as helping implement research and experimental development projects.

The company cooperates with a world-renowned equipment manufacturers such as Foss, Binder, Pfeuffer, Adrona and more.

At the moment we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a successful track record in managing in-house and outsourced IT resources to join the team in Vilnius.

Description

IT PM will have to use best project management practices to spin out various IT projects, develop services and implement features:

• Work with cross functional project teams inside and outside the organisation – developers, sysadmins solution providers
• Improve and modernize the information systems used by the company, to increase their efficiency
• Manage projects in the areas of IT development, development and maintenance, using project management methodologies
• Formulate project tasks and plan actions
• Ensure that project activities are completed properly and on time
• Assess and manage risks related to the implementation of project activities
• Ensure effective communication between internal and external project participants
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Evaluate and assess result of project, prepare and register project progress reports, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT project management experience, managing projects/products for full life cycle – from initiation to implementation
• Understanding of projects structure, lifecycle, management methodologies
• Excellent communication skills both orally and written
• The ability to analyze data, to perform budgeting tasks and calculations
• Knowledge in project and team management tools and techniques
• Good technical skills understanding configuration management patterns
• Consultative, technical and problem-solving approach and experience
• English professional proficiency
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies
