The Team
You will be joining a closely knit team of 10 people, consisting of award-winning data scientists and medical specialists. As part of the core IT team you will work alongside the CTO, a full stack Python developer and 3 data scientists. The small size of the team will provide unique challenges as well as opportunities to make a major impact on the inner workings of the company.
Job description
As a Mid/ Senior SysAdmin your duties will include creating secure communication channels for sensitive data, hardware procurement and provisioning, monitoring servers and ensuring uptime, building as well as maintaining our provisioning and deployment pipelines, disaster recovery and general maintenance. This job will provide you with a unique set of challenges, such as operating in a broad set of circumstances ranging from public cloud to heavily-monitored and secured on-premise hardware, implementing data warehousing infrastructure, as well as dealing with diverse sets of network configurations in hospital IT systems. We are big believers in infrastructure as code and process automation so coding skills are a nice bonus.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience in devops or system administration
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, NAT operations, iptables, etc)
- Experience with VPN setup and maintenance (proprietary and open IPSEC implementations, OpenVPN, WireGuard, etc)
- Experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure
- Experience with software provisioning and configuration software (such as SaltStack)
- Hands-on experience in at least one scripting language (such as Bash or Python)
Nice to have skills:
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with software deployment using Docker
- Experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, ISO 27001, and IEC 62304 standards
