Experienced .NET Developer

The products: EDUKA – where student is introduced to the topic (enhanced elements for print textbooks and supporting digital materials), EMA – where the knowledge of the topic is evaluated (various individualised exercises enhanced by differentiation and gamification), EGZAMINATORIUS – where knowledge is summarised (adaptive learning exercises and summaries for exam preparation), TAMO – the largest K12 school management system in Lithuania daily used by 80% of the schools, ŠVIESA – the largest publisher of K12 educational materials in Lithuania. TAMO Group ecosystem in numbers (2021 September data): 1,500,000 unique users, 30 million monthly sessions in digital ecosystem, average 5 pages and 4 minutes per session.
Market opportunity: target geographies for growth: Europe. Europe spends around 5bn EUR annually for learning services. We believe we can replicate our home market success story internationally. The company will expand the business to 5 more countries in the next 3 years and become one of the EdTech leaders in EU.

The Team: our team of 30 talented professionals proudly supports all Ateities pamoka and TAMO products and our community. Our dynamic team is made up of dedicated and passionate software engineers, technical support, solution sales specialists, digital learning content managers, marketing specialists.

Your IT squad: company’s .NET team consists of fullstack .NET (.NET 4.8, .NET Core) and Frontend (Vue.js, ASP.NET MVC (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS)) developers, 2 mobile apps (iOS, Android) developers, QA person, UX/UI designer and the captain – CTO. There’s a PHP team of 8 working alongside the .NET team as well. The total size of Company’s IT squad is 14. There are 2 .NET Developers in the team and you will be the lucky 3rd .NET team member.

MAIN TASKS FOR YOU:

• Get things done in a scrum team.
• Design and build features for TAMO and more EdTech solutions to come.
• Ship code frequently and with confidence.
• Take part in peer Code Reviews and get Reviewed.
• Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the team of developers.
• Help us uphold and develop DevOps culture.
• Alleviate the suffering of children in pursuit of a good education by creating great EdTech.

OUR STACK:

• Backend operations are handled by ASP.NET MVC, .NET 4.8, .NET Core and ServiceStack
• Data stored in PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Frontend covered by Vue.js, ASP.NET MVC (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS)
• Rest API, RabbitMQ are used for integrations
• CI and Deployments are managed with Azure DevOps

Requirements

• Proficiency in .NET.
• Solid knowledge in SQL and query writing. Experience of advanced query writing is considerate as a bonus.
• Experience in FE development with latest FE frameworks is highly preferable.
• Ownership over everything you ship.
• Experience with Git.
• Comprehension of design patterns.
• We will be happy if you have work experience with complex software systems.
• At least an average sense of humour.
