About the company:
Brolis Sensor Technology is a dedicated photonic sensor technology company within Brolis Group, it currently manages 2 offices: in Vilnius, Lithuania and in Ghent, Belgium. Our technology encompasses in-house semiconductor material synthesis by MBE (we have our own MBE reactor!), device design, processing into chips (lasers, gain-chips, photodetectors), photonic integrated circuit design, testing and other steps until complete system assembly and application development.

We are one of the first European companies to receive support from the European Investment Bank! Together with private investors, the investment reaches 15 million Eur and will finance the ongoing R&D and roll-out of the new sensor technology.

Darbo pobūdis

Team: our company grew twice last year, and we planning to grow even more. The team now consists of 51 people. You will be a very welcome 52^nd member of the team. Our IT development squad as at is starting point, but you won’t be alone! Front-end needs the back-end, so your colleague is already working hard and getting his hands dirty to make the engine run. And of course, we need a full band of rockstars, so more members will join the team soon.

The product: We are about to produce industrial sensor systems that can be used to measure milk composition in agriculture, or for in-line monitoring in the beverage industry.

We are developing the top-notch hardware and IT solution which encompass our laser-based integrated sensor technology, IoT, Cloud and big data engineering solutions. By joining the team as a senior Front-End developer, you will have a rare opportunity to establish and build the UI solution for our product (and more to come) from the ground up.

We have the laser-based integrated sensor and we have data, a lot of data! And we have to deal with that. We capture the spectra, analyze it, store it and here comes your part:

• Write a lot of code to show data nicely for our end users.
• Smash the bugs when they appear.
• Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment.
• Actively engage and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Drink coffee, eat snacks, socialize etc.

Reikalavimai

As an ideal candidate you have to be passionate about what you do, be friendly, self-driven, collaborative and always aim for the best result. You’ll have a direct impact to the success of the products we’ll build together. We expect you to have:

• In-depth knowledge and 3+ years of working professionally with React or Vue as primary js framework.
• Solid grasp of building responsive web apps with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 experience appreciated.
• Experience with Agile practice (Scrum, Code Review, CI/CD, TDD, MVP).
• Feel strongly about structured and well-tested code.
• Build and ship code with confidence.
• Strong attention to the details.
• Enjoy sharing your work and experience with the rest of the team.
• Good level of written and spoken English is a must.
• You can learn and adapt quickly.
